What We Look For
When evaluating panel appraisers, we consider:
Licensing & Credentials
Current and active California appraisal licensing and appropriate credentials for the assignments performed.
Geographic Competency
Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the geographic areas served.
Experience
Experience with the property types and assignments appropriate for our lender clients.
Report Quality
Well-supported analysis, appropriate comparable selection, accurate adjustments, and clear reconciliation.
Professionalism
Responsive communication and professional interaction with lenders, AMC personnel, and other parties.
Turnaround Time
The ability to meet agreed-upon assignment deadlines and communicate promptly when issues arise.
Independence & Compliance
Commitment to appraisal independence, applicable laws, regulations, USPAP, and lender requirements.
